The expansion of the minimal: A mixed-media workshop inspired by the work of Niki Kanagini (Ages 65+)

Sundays, 14 & 21 June 2026, 11:30-14:30
Voress Museum-The expansion of the minimal: A mixed-media workshop inspired by the work of Niki Kanagini (Ages 65+)

Educational workshop for individuals aged 65+

The workshop invites participants to discover the work of Niki Kanagini and create works inspired by elements of her artistic process, such as trace, writing, and slogan, with particular emphasis on the issues she addresses through her work, including gender identity, the relationship between women and the home, and the political dimensions of everyday life. Through an overview of Kanagini’s artistic journey, we will bring our own thoughts on these issues to the surface, deepen our understanding of the connections between trace and drawing, writing and painting, and, starting from a personal domestic object, create associations, phrases, forms, and patterns on papers of both large and smaller formats.
