Summer Camp 2026 (Ages 6-11)
For children aged 6-11
Summer Camp 2026
June 22 – July 17, 2026
This summer, the Vorres Museum invites children aged 6–10 to a Summer Camp full of journeys, stories, games, and creativity among its gardens and collections. The Summer Camp is divided into two thematic cycles, transforming the museum into a lively space of exploration, imagination, and artistic expression.
Information
ART TRIP: Around the world in a museum
(June 22 – June 26 & July 6 – July 10)
How can a work of art take us to another country? What can a Greek carpet have in common with South American textiles? And what connection does Opy Zouni have with Egypt?
In the first part of the camp, children explore works from the Vorres Museum collection and discover connections with artists, traditions, and cultures from around the world. Every day becomes a new stop on the map of art.
GREEN ART LAB: The art of nature
(June 29 – July 3 & July 13 – July 17)
In the second cycle of the camp, nature becomes a workshop of inspiration and creativity. Starting from the museum garden and works from the collection, children create using natural and recycled materials, observe elements of nature, and discover new ways to connect with the environment through art.
Green Art Lab combines play, observation, and creativity, giving children the opportunity to discover how art can emerge from the simplest materials of everyday life.
- Every day, children participate in:
- Exploring the museum collection and gardens
- Storytelling games and group activities
- Visual arts workshops using different techniques and materials
- Activities inspired by Greek and international artists and cultures
- Hands-on workshops that encourage creativity, collaboration, and ecological awareness
